Every year the fair also introduces lens based art of our neighbouring countries. The best way to do this is via artist books, which provide an intimate insight into the photographic art and the publishing of art books.
This year’s book sale-exhibition focuses on Sweden. We present the books of publishers B-B-B-Books, Blackbooks, Livraison and Art &Theory. This selection provides a great overview of the visual chatacteristics and richness of Swedish contemporary photographic art.
Sophie Allgårdh, art critic and programme manager of Thielska gallery in Stockholm will give a lecture on Swedish contemporary photographic art and introduces the presented books.
